Description

These plants produce peppers that are red, yellow or brown in color and average 1-2" in length.  Plants set many tiny fruits which can be stuffed, eaten raw, barbequed, etc.  The small size makes then a favorite for snacking.

Because the mini bells only reaches 24" in height, they make wonderful container or patio plants.

Keeping in Going

  • Peppers need warm weather and consistently moist soil

  • Ensure the soil is adequately fertile.  The plant will produce more fruit.

  • Harvest the peppers when they are firm and full

  • The longer you allow them to mature on the plant, the sweeter they will be.

  • They may need staking when the fruit appears.

Won't Tolerate

  • Will not tolerate drought

  • Do not like their roots being disturbed

  • Infertile soil

  • For healthy crop rotation, avoid planting where peppers, tomatoes, or eggplants previously grew.
